Committee Levels
All levels of Position Papers are due at 11:59 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026. Please submit them to you committee's respective email found on the synopsis. Late papers will not be considered.
Committee Guidelines:
Here at LBIMUN, we pride ourselves on running a fun, and professional conference. We strive to give our delegates a Model UN experience which feel like the real deal. That is why we have set out the following rules:
Pop-Culture References: We have a strict, no pop-culture reference policy We understand making these references during your speech can be "funny", but it takes away from the professionality of the committee and reflects poorly on you in the eye's of our chairs.
Acronyms: Acronyms are great, but only when they relate to the content. We encourage only using acronyms in your solutions when they have a strong and meaningful correlation.
Technology: This conference will be moderate tech, meaning that laptops will be allowed in committee (except CRISIS); however, if the chair deems that the delegate is not engaged in the committee, points will be immediately deducted. Reading off laptops during speeches is heavily frowned upon.
